Hungry for a challenge
That is good, because at Just Eat Takeaway.com, we have abundant opportunity. As we say, everything is on the table.
We are a leading global online food-delivery marketplace. Our technology ecosystem connects millions of active customers with hundreds of thousands of connected partners around the world.
Our mission is to empower every food moment, whether through customer service, coding or couriers.
About the role
As a Product Designer within the Customer pillar, you will be part of a UX team responsible for the apps and websites customers use to order food globally.
You will work with an empowered, cross-functional team that uses research and data to understand the problem space before moving through the design process to deliver engaging, user-friendly solutions.
We are specifically looking for an AI-forward Designer who uses modern AI tools as a force multiplier. You will move rapidly from concepts to functional artefacts, accelerating visual exploration, prototyping and delivery.
We want to discover what users will love as quickly as possible. We explore user problems in depth, speak with users regularly and embrace modern, AI-assisted workflows to understand and meet user needs faster.
You will join a passionate UX team of more than 80 UX Designers, UI Designers, Product Designers, Service Designers, Researchers and Writers across seven countries.
Key responsibilities
Focus on key user problems and develop innovative solutions.
Create process flows, user journeys, wireframes, visual design mock-ups and AI-accelerated prototypes to communicate detailed interaction behaviours quickly and thoroughly.
Work across the product lifecycle, from concept to delivery, creating documentation, wireframes, low- and high-fidelity prototypes, and pixel-perfect UI.
Integrate AI tools into your day-to-day workflow for rapid visual exploration, generative prototyping and streamlined production tasks across web and mobile platforms.
Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to build experiences and present your work to stakeholders.
Partner with UX Researchers on research activities, including usability studies, and use AI tools appropriately to support synthesis and insight generation.
What you will bring
Experience in a Product Design role, delivering UX and design work as part of a multidisciplinary, cross-functional team.
Hands-on experience designing and delivering user experiences across mobile app platforms, including iOS and Android, or responsive web.
Strong design fundamentals in layout, typography and colour; high-fidelity prototyping skills using tools such as Figma or Axure; and familiarity with established design systems.
Hands-on experience or genuine enthusiasm for using AI tools, such as Figma AI, AI prototyping and AI-assisted research synthesis, to iterate faster and work smarter.
Familiarity with collaborative design processes, including workshop facilitation, design sprints and working alongside User Research.
Good business awareness and the ability to explain design decisions clearly to Product Managers, Engineering teams and stakeholders.
A proactive approach to ownership, creative problem-solving and contributing directly to business objectives.
