The design team’s focus is on creating high quality experiences that always answer a real measurable customer need, are built from a well-considered design system and follow a sensible design methodology. We love designers who have passion and are opinionated but not egotistic. We want people in the team to bring new ideas and be focused on outcomes over output. Day to day, most designers are distributed within cross-functional product teams but you’ll also be part of a wider global design group where you’ll share skills, learn best practise and be able to develop and progress within your design career.
Job overview
As a Product Designer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our B2B tools and services. You'll focus on creating intuitive workflows and sophisticated interfaces that empower our Limited Partner (Investor) clients to effectively analyse our industry-leading alternative asset data. You'll be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery to final delivery, ensuring we create solutions that truly meet our users' needs. This role reports to one of the Design Leads.
What you’ll be doing
Translate ideas and briefs into compelling new features and components.
Lead design projects from concept to launch, driving the entire design process.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Developers in an agile environment.
Develop and present prototypes to stakeholders, gathering valuable feedback.
Analyse data to identify opportunities for improvement and new features.
Conduct workshops to gather insights and drive collaborative design.
Engage directly with users for discovery and usability testing.
Balance business goals, user needs, and competitive analysis to create best-in-class experiences.
Advocate for design thinking and confidently challenge senior stakeholders.
Contribute to our Design System, expanding our library of patterns and components.
Participate in design reviews, share your work, and contribute to our design culture.
Champion best practices and identify areas for process improvement.
What you’ll bring to us
Degree in Product design, UX, Interaction design or similar
Strong online portfolio demonstrating attention to both form and function
Relevant professional industry experience
Proficient in current design tools
Used to HCD, design thinking sessions and design sprints
Make data-driven design decisions
Experience of presenting ideas and working with cross functional teams
Ability to conduct user research
