As an early member of the evroc Console team, you’ll do more than design user experiences, you’ll help define how our users interact with our groundbreaking cloud technology. In this formative stage, your role extends beyond UX design – you’ll be shaping the very structure of our design practices and contributing to our engineering culture, influencing product direction and the overall user-centered design approach within the company.
What You’ll Tackle
Lead UX Design Projects: Drive the end-to-end UX design process, from user research and ideation to wireframing, prototyping and testing.
Define User Experience Standards: Establish and advocate for UX best practices and standards across the product lifecycle to ensure consistent and intuitive experiences.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineers, product managers and other stakeholders to create cohesive design aligned with product goals.
Conduct User Research and Testing: Plan, execute, and analyse user research sessions, usability tests, and other validation methods to inform design decisions, continually iterating on user experience.
Create Intuitive Interfaces: Design interfaces across Console, focusing on simplicity, usability and efficiency for our diverse range of users.
Contribute to Design System Development: Help build and maintain a scalable design system to ensure consistent visual language and experience across all products.
Skills We Value
Experience: Typically 5+ years of professional experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your work on complex, cloud-based solutions or SaaS products.
User-Centered Design: A demonstrated proficiency in UX design principles and methodologies, with hands-on experience with processes, testing, and user research.
Design Tools: Advanced skills in design and prototyping tools with a keen eye for detail and visual hierarchy. Hands-on with Tailwind CSS to create responsive interfaces that are visually appealing is a plus.
Experience with Front-End Technologies: Familiarity with (if not the ability to code) TypeScript and frameworks like Svelte or React. While Svelte experience isn’t required, a solid background in JavaScript frameworks would be beneficial.
API and Cloud Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud services and understanding of API-drive architectures, ideally with experience designing interfaces that interact with Kubernetes clusters or similar backend services.
Analytical Mindset: The ability to analyse user feedback, behaviour analytics, and other data to inform design direction.
Scalable Design Systems: Experience building or working within a scalable system, contributing to a cohesive experience across product offerings.
Collaboration: Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts and decisions clearly to a wide audience.
Bonus Skills
Some understanding of Machine Learning & AI: Interest in AI-drive product development, and enthusiasm for finding new ways of integrating it into UX design.
Product-Building: Some product-building experience with design focus, balancing user empathy and technical understanding.
