The Role
Do you have a passion for crafting elegant and intuitive user experiences that solve real-world problems?
We're searching for a talented and creative UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic R&D team. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our Front-End and Back-End Developers, working hand-in-hand to design and build cutting-edge solutions that shape the way our employees work.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate directly with internal teams to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and aspirations.
Translate user research and business requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups.
Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web applications, focusing on usability, accessibility, and visual appeal, specifically within the context of our SaaS products.
Partner closely with both our Front-End and Back-End Developers throughout the design and development process, ensuring seamless implementation and technical feasibility of your designs within our React-based framework.
Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously iterate and improve the user experience of our internal tools and platforms.
Champion user-centred design principles and advocate for the needs of our internal customers.
Stay abreast of the latest UX/UI trends and best practices, constantly seeking new ways to enhance our design systems and processes.
Skills and Experience
A strong portfolio showcasing your experience designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web applications within a SaaS environment. Your portfolio should demonstrate a strong grasp of visual hierarchy, composition, and colour theory, showcasing your ability to create truly engaging and delightful user experiences.
A deep understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies, including user research, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present your design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Understanding of Accessible design requirements and how to address them.
A passion for problem-solving and a keen eye for detail, ensuring consistency and quality across all design deliverables.
Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating closely with developers.
Familiarity with front-end technologies, particularly React, is a plus and will enable you to collaborate more effectively with our development team.
Familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
