Overview

To be responsible for supporting the Lead UI Designer and Senior UI Designer in extrapolating UI designs for responsive screens using pre-defined styleguides across all of SAGE’s user interface and experiences, while maintaining the SAGE brand.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • Converting basic responsive wireframes into high-fidelity interactive prototypes, and communicating with key stakeholders, and providing rationale for responsive screen solutions.

  • Own BAU tickets and deliver tasks on time set by Lead UI Designer.

  • Provide support in extrapolating UI designs for responsive screens using design templates and styleguides produced by the Lead and Senior UI Designer.

  • Conducting UAT testing to ensure the final site designs are consistent with the delivered UI designs.

  • Keep up with trends in the industry, technology, and UI best practices.

Qualifications & Education

• Proven user interface design experience and a strong portfolio to demonstrate your UI skills.• Experience of UI design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, InVision.• Experience in working with pre-defined Design Styleguides/Systems.• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; and experience of working in an Agile/Scrum development process.• Ability to solve UX/UI problems creatively and effectively.• Qualification in UI design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related.• Basic understanding of web accessibility.• Experience of designing successful responsive designs for multiple screen sizes.• Ability to work collaboratively as a part of the UI team to deliver designs through a guided UI design vision.• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and experimental environment, work with global teams and build strong relationships.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Commercial business sense, accountability, and integrity.• Effective time management and multitasking skills, pro-active problem solving through insight and judgement and strong attention to detail.
