Design and build layouts that adapt to the space available so people can use the same site across screen sizes. Use responsive design when content must remain readable and usable on phones, tablets and larger displays. Start with a flexible layout, let images fit their containers and use CSS grid or flexbox to distribute content. Add media-query breakpoints where the content needs a different arrangement, rather than targeting a few named devices. Check the layout as the viewport changes.
