Concept testing

Show target users an early product or feature idea to learn whether they understand it and whether it addresses a problem they recognise. Use concept testing after generating possible solutions and before committing to full development. Present a description, mock-up or prototype, then gather feedback through interviews, surveys or structured tasks. Set clear research questions and use neutral wording. Compare responses about comprehension, relevance and concerns to decide what to refine or investigate next.
