The Role

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented E-commerce UX Designer to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping the future of the V&A’s e-commerce retail experience. You’ll lead the design of user-friendly, visually engaging, and conversion-focused journeys across our ecommerce website — helping to bring the V&A’s world-class brand to life online.

In this role, you’ll translate customer insights, user behaviours, and business goals into seamless end-to-end journeys. From refining navigation and enhancing product discovery to optimising the checkout experience and designing for mobile, your work will ensure that visitors can effortlessly browse, shop, and purchase with the V&A across all devices.

Your designs will directly contribute to improving customer satisfaction and driving commercial performance — making it easier for users to engage with the V&A online while supporting our revenue goals.

The V&A

The V&A is the world’s leading museum of art and design, housing a permanent collection of over 2.8 million objects, books and archives that span over 5,000 years of human creativity. The museum holds many of the UK's national collections and houses some of the greatest resources for the study of architecture, furniture, fashion, textiles, photography, sculpture, painting, jewellery, glass, ceramics, book arts, Asian art and design, theatre and performance.
