We’re headquartered in Brighton, with our teams working hybrid and remotely across the UK.
The Role
As a Mid-Level Product Designer, you will work closely with our senior product designers to take ownership of various projects. Your responsibilities will include planning tasks, estimating project timelines, communicating progress or blockers in stand-ups, and preparing designs for handover to the development team. You will interact constantly with other team members, departments, and clients, ensuring seamless collaboration and project execution.
Key responsibilities include updating and maintaining our well-established design system alongside other designers. You will be an advocate for the design system, its rules, and processes, effectively communicating its value to clients and external teams. Presenting your work to stakeholders and demonstrating the positive impact of your designs will be crucial to your role.
Your work will be outcome-focused, user-centred, and data-informed. You will share your work early and often, seeking feedback and participating in design reviews. As part of a talented team of designers, researchers, developers, account managers, and project managers, you will have ample opportunity for collaboration and professional growth.
Responsibilities
Support senior product designers in maintaining and growing our design system for key accounts.
Collaborate with UX designers to produce high-fidelity journeys that utilise design systems and ensure a consistent approach.
Work with researchers, developers, and customer service teams to refine the final product.
Plan and estimate BAU tasks with the project manager and senior product designer.
Present your work to stakeholders and advocate for user-centred design solutions.
Actively participate in design reviews and seek feedback to continuously improve your designs.
Skills and Experience
Required:
Proficiency in Figma.
Experience creating or working with design systems, particularly projects linked to libraries.
Strong understanding of usability and accessibility in web design.
Ability to identify and address pain points and opportunities within customer journeys.
Familiarity with Design Thinking, UX principles, and research methodologies.
Experience presenting design work to teams and stakeholders.
Willingness to travel to the Brighton office for key company events and team meetings.
Desirable:
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams (UX designers, UI designers, researchers).
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools.

Salary
£39,000.00 to £45,000.00 per annum (depending on level/experience)
