The gig
It’s an exciting time for Dr. Martens. As we continue a journey of significant growth, expansion, and improvement, we’re on the lookout for a customer-led and strategically minded individual to take the lead on our UX function as part of agile delivery within Digital Marketing.
Reporting to the Global Head of Digital CRO & UX, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the customer journey across our Global .com. You’ll work in an agile environment creating a best-in-class digital experience for our customers worldwide.
As our Senior UX Designer you will be responsible for:
Ensuring the timely delivery of UX artifacts and designs
Working closely with the regional CRO teams as well as our research and analysis partners to help identify opportunities, define possible improvements, and deliver onsite improved user experiences
Developing high-fidelity designs, user flows and prototypes and walking key stakeholders through customer journeys for feedback and sign-off
Leading customer-driven design and usability testing for the team. ensuring a well-positioned product through market & industry analysis
Working across multiple functions and with developers to help ensure your designs can become a reality, problem solving where needed.
Providing feedback and guidance to regional teams on customer journeys, coming up with and designing AB test ideas
Supporting team product owners to ideate solutions, UX designs and journeys for initiatives
The stuff that sets you apart
Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:
A self-starter with effective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with other regions and key stakeholders
Proven experience working in User Experience or a similar role within a digital environment
A portfolio that includes examples of experience within digital retail and projects that show a quantitative or qualitative research, clear user centric approach to either an improvement, new feature or fix on a digital platform
Strong research and analytics skills
A passion for user experience, focused thinking and driving innovation with a customer centric lens
An adaptable mindset and embracer of change and recognising its importance
Key Technical Skillset: Figma or similar design programme experience, Adobe suite, HTML & CSS understanding, google analytics, digital experience platforms, project management software
