What you’ll be doing day-to-day

  • Conducting User research

    • Support the planning and execution of user research activities like interviews and usability tests

    • Help analyse both qualitative and quantitative data to uncover user needs, behaviours and painpoints

  • Cotribute to UX design

    • Create key UX deliverables such as wireframes, user flows and customer journey maps, collaborating with senior designers for feedback and guidance

    • Ensure your designs align with user needs and business goals, balancing creativity with functionality

  • Client collaboration

    • Take part in client meetings and workshops, gradually leading sections and presenting insights or ideas confidently

    • Work with clients to help them understand the value of user-centred design

  • Support strategic thinking

    • Work with senior team members to translate research insights into practical design solutions

    • Engage in discussion with on design strategy and advocate for user experience improvements

  • Learn and develop

    • Grow your expertise with tools like Figma, Miro and Google Slides, working alongside experienced team members

    • Receive regular feedback and mentorship, helping you refine your design processes and research skills

Experience, Skills, Education and personal attributes

  • 2 to 4 years experience in experience design, with examples of successful projects where you’ve contributed to both UX research and design

  • Comfortable with UX tools such as Figma, Miro and other digital collaboration tools

  • Strong communication skills, you’re able to present your ideas clearly and can work with feedback from clients and colleagues

  • Collaborative and creative, you enjoy working as part of a team to solve complex problems

  • Curious and organised, you’re eager to explore new ideas and are capable of managing your workload
