Do you have an interest in user research? Can you gain a deeper understanding of who uses AXA Health’s services, ultimately informing product and service design decisions? We’re looking for an experienced User Researcher to join our Strategic Marketing and Insights team in AXA Health.
You’ll plan, design, and execute research activities of user experiences for both existing and new products and services, delivered across multiple platforms including desktop, mobile and tablet.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll be doing
Ensure customer voice is at the heart of everything we do, engaging Designers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders in a user-centred design process.
Lead UX research within AXA Health.
Initiate, design, and implement UX research projects.
Share findings and develop recommendations.
Own collaborative partnerships with design, research and customer teams.
Manage customer data within user testing and analytics. Leverage Decibel and Google Analytics, sharing recommendations on product and proposition design.
Collaborate on ad hoc projects across other research areas. Use qualitative and quantitative research methods and secondary market analysis.

What you’ll bring
Significant experience leading user research for digital products or services within a research team - essential.
Exposure to a variety of mixed research methods including depth interviews, lab and remote usability studies, participatory design sessions, user surveys and data analysis - essential.
Confident using Figma and Maze or similar systems - essential.
Able to synthesise qualitative and quantitative data quickly, turning complex research into actionable insight - essential.
Degree level education in Marketing, Behavioural science Psychology - preferred but not essential
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
