What you'll do
Your key accountabilities will include
Gather and apply insight from user research, A/B and MVT testing, and analytics to improve and iterate your work.
Create design artefacts such as concept maps, navigation structures, user journeys, interaction flows, UI schematics, wireframes, UI designs, visual and brand designs, animations – that build the delivery of high-quality user experiences.
Shaping and planning your work and how it fits with the work of others in your Product team.
Work with and evolve the M&S Design System.
Support and inspire others in the team. Contribute to an inclusive team environment.
Build collaborative relationships across M&S through strong storytelling, communication, and influencing skills - able to select and deploy the right means of engaging your audience and building a growing movement.

Your skills and experience will include
You might be looking for your next step, or already established as a senior designer running your own small projects. Bigger organisational complexity does not put you off, and you imaginatively can find ways to cut through and communicate when situations are ambiguous or contentious.
Using and evolving a design system across different platforms – native app, web, kiosk etc
Design and delivery of high quality online user experiences
Working in a cross-functional Product team to contribute human-centred design expertise in a timely, appropriate, and collaborative way, and to achieve the team goals.
Actively contributing to culture and practice of a design team and building an amazingly supportive and creative team environment.
Resilience and persistence when bringing about change and introducing new things.
