On my way back from UX Brighton after a day of learning and research into the UX sector. Avinash Mair's talk powerfully illustrated how UX and economics are intrinsically connected. I especially enjoyed Sharon Webster's use of the Arts and Crafts movement to frame how we might respond to AI. It was refreshing to hear James Lang's reflections on hopeful futures. Huge thanks to UX Brighton for such an excellent conference.Frances Liddel

I really enjoyed James Lang's Hopeful Futures talk at UX Brighton. He didn't just tell us to stay hopeful, he focused on the how: reframe the narrative, map the future, experiment, build infrastructure, shape change. It was a good reminder that this new era isn't the end of research or design. It's an inflection point. The hopeful part is that we get to decide what comes next!LinkedIn

UX Brighton left me more inspired than ever about the future of my career. Speakers explored the real shifts in our field, from being domain specialists to imagining hopeful futures for UX in an AI-driven world. Technology will reshape our world, but self-reflection, critical thinking, and human insight remain at the heart of our work.Emilie Moreau

Feeling incredibly energised and inspired after a fantastic day at the UX Brighton conference! A powerful theme was the call to actively choose 'hope' over 'doom'. It's a challenge to embrace agency, seeing this moment of disruption not as a passive threat but as our active opportunity to shape what comes next. I'm leaving with a virtual notebook full of actionable ideas.University of Portsmouth

One of the reasons I like UX Brighton is it always forces me to have an opinion. The talks don’t just wash over us: we can agree or disagree with any one talk or point and still come out learning.

Today was a great day. After a few crazy years it was great to be back at an in-person conference and in particular, UX Brighton, the one conference I’ve been fortunate enough to attend throughout most of my design career and learn a lot from.

Nicky Wilmshurst, Madgex

Had a very enlightening day at #uxbrighton with many outstanding guest speakers. I particularly enjoyed this year’s theme on UX and Product Management and same as previous years, I am taking a few learnings back to the day job. It was great spending a screen free day as a team. Looking forward to next year.

Dani Battersby

We had a great time at UX Brighton this year. Whether you agree or disagree with any one talk or point, it always sparks an opinion. The mark of an excellent conference.

I just wanted to shoot a message across to say just how much I enjoyed yesterday. I’m a business architect working as part of a strategy function and honestly, it’s not something I would ordinarily have attended, but I was lucky that our UX team had a spare ticket and they invited me along.

Lisa Avon

Fantastic day at UX Brighton! Really awesome to catch up with the Brighton tech/UX/product community in general - many conversations have been long overdue, so it’s great to see UX Brighton back on this year.

Janna Bastow, ProdPad (speaker)

As a speaker, when everything is planned so meticulously, and an event runs so smoothly, having great organisers is pretty much the icing on the cake. Extraordinary to be sharing the stage with such accomplished and insightful speakers.

Jonty Sharples (speaker)

On Friday I had a fantastic time speaking at #uxbrighton! First time I’ve felt almost comfortable on stage. Hearing 700 people laugh at a ‘pentagram of product management’ felt like I’d reached a goal.
