The Vacancy

What if the experiences you designed were used by millions of people every single day?

At Evri, we’re not just delivering parcels - we’re transforming how people interact with one of the UK’s largest logistics networks through thoughtful, user‑centred design.

Over the past few years, UX has grown rapidly at Evri - from a single designer to a thriving, high‑impact team influencing products across the entire business. Today, UX sits at the heart of how we build, with strong executive backing and a shared ambition to create best‑in‑class digital experiences.

Now, we’re looking for a UX Designer to join us - people who are curious, collaborative and passionate about shaping experiences that genuinely make a difference.

Why this role is exciting

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing UX team where your work will have real visibility and impact. You’ll help design experiences across web, native mobile and internal tools used daily by our couriers and operational teams.

You’ll be embedded in a cross‑functional product squad, while also being part of a wider UX community - giving you the best of both worlds: ownership of your product area and the chance to collaborate, learn and grow alongside other designers and specialists.

As we continue to scale, there’s real opportunity to develop your craft, deepen your expertise and shape your career within a fast‑moving, design‑led environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Acting as the voice of the user within your product team, ensuring their needs guide design decisions

  • Conducting user, market and competitor research to uncover insights and opportunities

  • Creating user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity designs to bring ideas to life

  • Collaborating closely with Product Managers to shape roadmaps and prioritise user value

  • Supporting story refinement and defining clear, user‑focused acceptance criteria

  • Working with analytics and optimisation teams to measure performance and inform design decisions

  • Validating designs through user testing before development begins

  • Championing design consistency through adherence to the Evri Design System

  • Partnering with engineers to ensure designs are implemented to a high standard and meet accessibility best practices

  • Contributing to a strong UX culture and promoting user‑centred, data‑driven design practices

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in a UX Designer role, ideally within a product‑led or digital environment

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end UX thinking and problem solving

  • Experience designing for web, mobile or progressive web applications

  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar

  • Solid understanding of user‑centred design principles and UX frameworks

  • Experience with user research, usability testing and insight generation

  • Familiarity with analytics tools and data‑driven design approaches

  • Understanding of design systems and pattern libraries

  • Awareness of agile ways of working (Scrum/Kanban)

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence

Why Evri

Because here, design truly matters.

You’ll be part of a team that has earned its voice at the highest level, working on products used at national scale. You’ll have the freedom to experiment, the support to grow, and the opportunity to shape experiences that impact millions.

Most importantly, you’ll join a business that values different perspectives, backs its people, and believes that great user experiences start with great teams.

We are Evri. Where everyone is welcome.
We’re excited about what’s next. Let’s design it together.
