UX Brighton 2026 6 Nov, Brighton Dome
Ideas
What emerging methods are changing how you work?
We don’t do a traditional CFP – we’d rather have a conversation. UX Brighton is curated, and I’m always eager to connect with people and hear ideas for potential talks.

This year’s theme: Emerging Methods
We’re exploring what’s new, what’s next, and what’s finally possible in UX. Topics we’re particularly interested in:
- AI/LLM-assisted research and design methods
- New qualitative methods
- Quantitative and data-driven UX approaches
- Methods borrowed from adjacent fields (behavioural science, service design, etc.)
- Critique and evolution of established methods
- Old methods whose time has finally come – especially those heavy on analysis/computation that are now feasible
- Methods that reduce or replace direct user involvement in research
We’re looking for methods that work for newcomers to UX (including developers) AND senior practitioners. Cutting-edge doesn’t mean impenetrable.
What to expect
We’ll go over things like:
- your ideas
- your interests
- what you’d like people to take away/why the audience should care
- how these things might form part of this year’s theme
You don’t need a polished talk – just ideas and enthusiasm. We often work closely with speakers to shape a talk that harmonises with the theme. First-time speakers are welcome.
Looking forward to speaking with you.
Cheers, Danny
