Hands-down the most helpful and practical UX conference I attended.

Agnieszka Rzesniowiecka

Pre-conf meetup – 31st Oct

In town the night before? Come along from 7pm to The Fountainhead and meet fellow delegates. It’s a relaxed pub and serves food until 9pm. They do a good coffee too! Look out for Jay in the bright green UX Brighton t-shirt.

Pre-event breakfast networking & coffee – 1st Nov

If you’re coming down early to the conference, Small Batch is practically next to The Dome, open from 7am and is a great place to grab a coffee and meet fellow attendees.

Accessibility

The venue is fully accessible. We would like to ensure that all delegates are able to have access therefore should you have any special requests please try to contact us in advance so we can accommodate your needs.

Help

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns or questions, please contact a member of staff – they’ll be wearing a bright green UX Brighton t-shirt – or by calling or texting the number printed on your name badge. We reserve the right to refuse admission.

Wifi

There will be wifi at the venue so feel free to tweet, insta, blog, and make notes during the day.

Charging stations

There will be several 4-ways available in the Founders Room, to the left of the main Foyer bar, and also on the Mezzanine level which is upstairs, to the right of the Foyer bar. Plug sockets are limited in the Concert Hall so we’d recommend bringing a power pack. If you’re travelling from outside the UK, remember your adaptor.

Photography & Filming

  • We are filming talks again this year and will release the them soon after the event on our YouTube channel.

  • We have an official photographer for the day, however you are welcome, in fact encouraged, to take your own too. We’d love to see them - see our Social Media tag for places to share them.

  • Of course you’re welcome to sell or give away your ticket - just tell the person to give the original name on the ticket, as that will be on the name badge and delegate list
