I was excited to be back at UX Brighton for the second time after attending in 2022. The theme this year was UX & AI, a topic so relevant to us in the field of design in many profound ways. This conference was a reminder of how much our work is evolving. We’re no longer just designing for usability or aesthetics but are now tasked with building experiences that bring AI and productivity together, helping people navigate complex systems in ways that feel natural and intuitive. Seeing how others are tackling the challenges of trust in AI and using AI to empower user research has given me a fresh perspective on what's possible. I left feeling inspired, with new ideas on bridging the gap between technology and human-centred design. I also met many wonderful people at the networking lunch. The UX Brighton community always delivers great insights and conversations, and this year was no different.
