Midweight User Experience Consultant (Research)



We are looking for a Midweight User Experience (UX) Consultant to join our UK Studio, based out of our London offices. They will be a advocate for the customer, leveraging customer insights to inform data-driven design decisions and product experiences for our clients and their customers.

This is a great opportunity for an individual to grow and develop in the field of UX research and take the next step in their career with an agency that has big ambitions and a large appetite for fun.

We work on a hybrid remote model - you will need to be prepared to work from either our offices or our Client's offices in London when needed.

We will give preference to candidates who are able to start immediately or are on a short notice period.

Key skills

  • Practical experience working within the user experience environment, where you have been using data and insight about people's behaviour and sentiment to inform the design of digital product experiences.

  • Experience in both supporting and directly planning and facilitating formative and evaluative research (one-to-one interviews, focus groups, diary studies, quantitative studies etc.) as well undertaking the analysis and reporting.

  • Good analytical skills and experience in data analysis and the ability to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Experience in delivering presentations both internally and externally in a clear and confident manner.

  • Exposure to working directly with clients, understanding the needs of their business and their customers.

  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, such as designers, developers, project managers, and stakeholders to create effective user experiences. 

The role

As a midweight UX consultant, you will be:

  • Working within a team to help structure research approaches and drafting supporting documents.

  • Responsible for conducting user research, analysing results and making actionable recommendations.

  • Working on a wide range of projects and programmes working with global organisations, focused on research, and have the opportunity to work alongside digital analytics and optimisation consultants, designers and developers to create the best solution for the client and their customers.

  • Play an important role internally, collaborating with your colleagues to help develop the Insight and Data practice.

  • Be expected to learn and try new skills, as well as stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques.

Our methodology

  • Develop creative methods and approaches to deepen the Insight and Data practice.

  • Demonstrate thought leadership within the field of User Experience such as contributing to industry panels, blogs and whitepapers.

  • Plan, design and execute a wide range of quantitative and qualitative research methods such as stakeholder /customer interviews, diary studies, surveys, usability testing and contextual research.

  • Define the best approach to client briefs, assist in scoping work and participate in pitch teams.

  • Advise clients and colleagues on how best to gather insight and data to drive decision making.

  • Be a trusted advisor for our clients. Help grow and nurture long-term client relationships through a deep understanding of their business objectives, past projects and future ambitions.
