Unlike most other conferences, we gather together a mix of academic and industry experts and curate our talks along a strong themeβ¦
β¦This yearβs theme is UX is dead, long live UX!.
During this one day conference, we aim to eschew traditional thinking and examine better ways to model and think about the world. We'll see how we can learn from many disciplines and professions, not just design or UX, and demonstrate how the best design needs a foundation of empirical evidence and critical thinking.
Our speakers are individually selected from industry and academia; we make a particular effort to bring new, relevant speakers to our audiences and we have been responsible for bringing a number of now well-known speakers on to the conference circuit.
UX Brighton is carefully curated by Danny Hope, a UX consultant with over a decade of experience. In all matters logistical, practical and eventful Emmeline Caines-Gooby ensures the conference runs like a well oiled machine. Emm's been working with Danny since 2011. Emmeline and Danny are backed up by a team of volunteers who all work to ensure the conference is a great day for all our attendees, speakers and sponsors.

It was a great pleasure to speak at UX Brighton. Some of the smartest, most insightful and entertaining people I've met. And that was just the audience. The speakers were great, too.

We were delighted to sponsor UX Brighton, it was a great opportunity for us to reach our target audience of small businesses and freelancers. We had good traffic to our stand and had some great conversations with attendees and the event itself was really interesting with great speakers.
