Our Product
Collaborating closely with clients, industry leaders, and our strategic investors, we've developed a digital commercial real estate ecosystem used by approximately 80% of the UK's commercial real estate market. This platform stands on the pillars of trust, security, and transparency, offering a singular solution that encompasses all aspects of a commercial real estate transaction, including marketing, matching, tracking, reporting, negotiating, signing, and closing deals.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Product Designer to help expand and professionalise our Design team, transforming us into a world-class creative force that delivers an unparalleled user experience. A bold and innovative leader, with a balance of interaction design, visual design, and product thinking skills. This role plays a pivotal part in Kato’s journey to establish itself as a leading brand in the real estate industry.
Day to day, you will
Produce user journey maps, user flows and protopes as well as conducting user research interview as integral parts of the design process
Shape and sustain our Design System in accordance with Kato brand guidelines
Set the standard of a great user experience and help to maintain consistency of the UI across the application
Create unique and visually stunning UI
Perform Acceptance Testing for frontend changes
Coordinate design critiques and reviews to ensure a consistent feedback loop in the design process
Keep up-to-date with competitor products and how they’re using design to solve their product problems to ensure we don’t fall behind
The ideal candidate will have
Experience setting up repeatable and scalable design processes that increase the agility of the team
You have deep knowledge of UX/UI best practices and design principles
You can effectively articulate and communicate design decisions
You have experience leading complex and technical design projects and can facilitate cross-functional team collaboration
Confidence in owning actions, processes and defining next steps in a dynamic, growing start-up environment
Proficient working with design systems and can be a primary contributor to maintaining and improving on it
Demonstrated excellence in product design, supported by an outstanding portfolio to showcase
